ONE LESS 5K
147 Million Orphans Worldwide. Racing to make it One Less!

Orphan Sunday

ONE LESS RACE IS TOMORROW!!!!!

Come out and support our local ministry
as we race to make it ONE LESS!

Last year, our local ministry team raced for ALICE.

rteu-update2

Last year, Alice was fatherless all because she has Down Syndrome.  This year Alice has a family who loves her and is working hard to bring her home.  Our race helped change Alice's future.

WE MADE A DIFFERENCE

This year we are raising funds for Suzanne.  Suzanne has already been transferred to a mental institution and is waiting for her family to save her life.

I will not leave you as orphans,
I will come to you.

John 14:18

I know Suzanne's family is out there.

God commands us to care for the orphans.

These children (every last one of them) deserve so much more than wasting away in an orphanage or mental institution.  This is not the plan that God had for their lives.  They are a blessing and a gift from God.  How do I know?  Because God has allowed our family the opportunity to have an orphan no more in our family.  Sometimes people tell me, "she is so lucky to have you all", but that is just not the truth.  The truth is that WE ARE THE LUCKY ONES.  She is not a burden, but a blessing.  A blessing that you cannot put into words.  She will not be a burden to my two oldest "typical" children when we may not be around, but a blessing to them also.  Their hearts will be turned to the special need orphans because of their adopted sister and their biological sister.

OUR BLESSINGS!!!!!

SO COME OUT TOMORROW!!!

COME JOIN THE FUN.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RUN OR WALK FOR THAT MATTER TO JOIN IN!!!

BRING A CHAIR AND ENJOY THE MORNING

IT'S THE COOLEST PLACE TO BE!!!

WE'LL SEE YOU THERE!

(if you are local and are interested...race begins at 8:00 am.
Just come to the De Queen football field)
